Feature: Aria Rattan Changing Table

Our Aria Changing Table is one of our most-loved pieces. As a mom who had her babies when changing table options were slim and rattan was still a hazy 1970's memory, seeing this table for the first time in person almost made me consider having one more. Because if you're going to spend 2,000+ minutes changing diapers in their first year, you may as well do it standing in front of a gorgeous piece of furniture!

Also in a past life, I was a family photographer - and it just so happened that I was still finishing up a few sessions before Ellie & Becks took over my life completely. My very last session as a photographer was a first year package - where I shot the family's newborn photos and did one more session for baby's 1st birthday. My clients have always been amazing, and were more than happy to let me include the Aria table in their newborn session, and then the Aria Doll Changing Table at baby Madeline's 1-year shoot. 

Seeing her so big and standing at 1-year, and comparing the shots of her wrapped up as a teeny baby then standing and pushing the doll table just a short year later - gave me ALL THE FEELS. It really sums up all my feelings about how quickly time passes with our little ones, and how precious these moments are captured. Getting to have our pieces as part of this memory was just the icing on top - my mama heart is very happy. 

And as the cherry on top of the icing, both Aria tables were mentioned recently by Domino Magazine as one of the best tables for 2022!
